Elizabeth
Practice Nurse

Liz is married with two adult children. She lives on a small sheep and cattle farm and enjoys gardening, especially growing vegetables. Walking on the Port Hills keeps her fit so she can walk some of the great walks around New Zealand.

Liz says working at Belfast Medical Centre is a real privilege as it is extremely rewarding and challenging. She started working at the practice as a Practice Nurse in 1999. Her special interests are teaching and empowering patients to understand and develop plans to improve their health and wellness. Some of those plans include immunisations, wound care and the well-being of the elderly.

Liz feels it is wonderful to work in a friendly, supportive team environment that work together to develop a professional and respectful relationship with the patients.

Practice Nurse
PG Cert BN RN

I am new to practice nursing, having worked for the last 13 years at Christchurch hospital with a special focus on stroke and general medicine. My nursing philosophy is based on respect and kindness for everyone I meet.

I am married with a preschool aged daughter, our family also includes a dog and two cats. In my spare time I enjoy reading and crocheting. I look forward to working with the friendly team at Belfast medical centre and their clientele.
