Belfast Medical Centre is becoming Tend Belfast.

We’re moving into a brand-new home just down the road and becoming part of Tend Health. You’ll see the same friendly faces and get the same care, with more ways to access it.

• Thursday 1 October: Our last day at 8 Richill Street

• Monday 5 October: Closed

• From Tuesday 6 October: Open at Unit 5/4 Bellewood Avenue, Belfast

• Midday Thursday 8 – Friday 9 October: Closed for a technical upgrade

While we’re closed

If you need to see a GP, you can use Tend’s Online Now service for 24/7 online care. If you need a repeat prescription, please order it in advance. We won’t be able to complete repeats after midday Thursday 8 October or on Friday 9 October.

Our team

Dr Lee Brown’s last day is Thursday 1 October. Dr Myriam Schotte and our nurses will continue to look after you and your family. As part of Tend, you’ll also have extra support from our wider team of GPs and nurses online, so you can get care when and where you need it.

Our priority throughout this transition is to make it as smooth as possible, while keeping the people and care at the heart of what we do.

This practice is contributing to, and accessing healthcare information from HealthOne:

• HealthOne is a South Island based secure electronic record that allows registered healthcare providers directly involved in your healthcare, to quickly access information such as your test results, allergies, medications, GP summaries and hospital information.
• HealthOne adheres to the principles of the Privacy Act 2020 as well as the Rules set out in the Health Information Privacy Code 2020. Access is only possible via an approved highly secure healthcare information network which is regularly audited & tested. Privacy auditing is used to check that only those directly involved in your care are accessing your information.
