If things didn't go the way you wanted with our service, we want to know about it. Even though we may not be able to turn the clock back, there may be something we can do to help put it right. Even if we can't put it right, we are committed to looking for ways to make your experience different in the future.
For any suggestions, please email our practice manager email@example.com. We also have a suggestions box in our waiting room.
If you have a complaint, please make an appointment with Doctor Hitchings, the complaints manager. Please ensure the staff making the appointment understand that the appointment is to discuss a complaint and not for a medical consultation. There is, of course, no charge. Alternatively complaints may be made in writing and addressed to Doctor T Hitchings, Belfast Medical Centre, 8 Richill Street, Belfast or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Please do not use above email address for prescription requests.
In the case of a complaint, we undertake to:
Comply with the requirement of the Right 10 of the "Code of Health and Disability Service Consumer Rights" in dealing with your complaint.
Give written acknowledgement of receiving your complain within five working days.
Attempt to resolve your complain within six weeks of the original acknowledgement.
You may also make a complaint to an advocate provided under the Health and Disability Commissioner Act 1994, or to the Health and Disability Commissioner by telephoning 0800 11 22 33.
Please give us your feedback......we are contemplating opening an evening Cervical Smear Clinic with the nurse for those who have difficulty coming during business hours. Please send us a message if this is something that could be of value to you so we can assess the level of interest.
